SKYHAWK GOLFERS WRAP UP SEASON AT NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

SVCC Golfers Cole Ruckman and Colton Guy took part in the NJCAA Golf National Championships held at Swan Lake Resort in Plymouth, Indiana.  After many battles with weather delays and difficult course conditions, the tournament wrapped up on Friday, May 24th.

Sophomore Cole Ruckman ended the tournament in a tie for 49th place with a stroke total of 314 over the 72 holes of play.  

Freshman Colton Guy rounded out the week in a tie for 73rd place and tallied 320 strokes.  

The field consisted of 132 players.  South Mountain Community College from Arizona won the team title, while Arrowhead conference member Blackhawk College finished in 6th place.
